Aurelia Suarez was named Artesia High School homecoming queen at a pep assembly held at 2 p.m. Collette Cauhape served as maid of honor with junior and sophomore attendants. Pregame ceremonies begin at 7:15 p.m. in Bulldog Bowl before Artesia faces Roswell High in the 1973 homecoming game at 7:30 p.m.
