Spooks and gremlins of all ages gathered Wednesday night at Eastern New Mexico State Fairgrounds for a joint Roswell Optimist Club and Pals and Chums high school sororities Halloween Carnival. Winners included Danny Ogg and George Lewis for original and goblin costumes as Tracy receives a view from her father C. M. Teague.

Three Roswell residents injured in Southeast Main crash
A two vehicle crash at 8 16 p m Wednesday near the Eastern New Mexico State Fairgrounds sent three people to area hospitals. Barbara R Blake 70 and Tim Oracion 14 and Tommy Blake 14 were hospitalized with varied conditions. Larry K Deeter 21 was uninjured. Police cited Mrs Blake for improper left turn.
