Adrift for 32 days ends with rescue miles from Guam
Frank H. Cushing and his son Frank Jr. were rescued 1,400 miles from Guam after 32 days at sea. Found near Camiguin Island in the Philippines, the Cushings were aboard a raft, well and provisions intact, after drifting from Guam while seeking reef fish for Frank Jr.'s collection.

Navigator Trainees Visit Walker for Project Resonance

La Joya ISD to Seek Consolidation Into Belen After 1965-66
The La Joya Independent School District plans to ask the New Mexico Board of Education to consolidate into the Belen School District after the 1965-66 year.
