Finish Sending Questionnaires In Chaves Co

Local selective service headquarters mailed the last group of questionnaires to Cha ves county registrants. The county has 3066 registrants with about 2200 classified so far and the board will continue until all are classified. The board meets two nights and one afternoon weekly. A total of 127 Chaves county men have been sent to military camps, with four more needed to reach the 131 quota by July 1. The next year’s quota has not yet been announced.
