High School P T A Elects Officers and Honors Friends
The high school P T A held its annual meeting yesterday afternoon at the school with election of officers: Mrs. W. P. Turner president, Mrs. J. E. McLane vice president, Mrs. M. S. Williams recording secretary, Mrs. C. A. Henderson corresponding secretary, Mrs. Harry Andrew treasurer, Mrs. Sidney Prager auditor. Reports praised the year’s work and thanked Woolworths, the Elks, and Southern M. E. church women for loaned dishes and glassware used at the Junior-Senior banquet.

Much Ado About Betty Senior Play at New High School
The senior class will stage Much Ado About Betty by Walter Ben Hare on Wednesday evening May 12 in the new high school auditorium. Twenty-two of fifty-five seniors perform in the pep filled production with new scenery and a fresh spirit. East Side PTA held its annual meeting electing Mrs P D Taylor president and other officers. The children presented a fine physical culture program and reports showed a healthy PTA.
