Armstrong Energy Corp chief earns 2016 Distinguished Service Award
Armstrong, spotlighted for decades of regional economic and civic work, will receive Leadership New Mexico’s 2016 Distinguished Service Award at a May 6 dinner marking the group's 20th anniversary at Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque. The Roswell leader co‑owns Armstrong Energy and Salt Creek Farm & Ranch, supports local nonprofits, and advocates oil and gas for New Mexico’s budget. He credits core values of integrity and employee investment, with Kyle Armstrong set to join the firm in Roswell.
