Roswell Woman Missing Four Days After Park Incident
Sharon G. Berry, 5 feet 1 inch, about 100 pounds, a former Roswell police officer and the first female deputy in Chaves County, has been missing since Thursday. Her son found her upset at Cahoon Park after a park walking-trail incident and she disappeared from her home on South Washington Avenue. She is known for her dog Mikey who often accompanied her.

Repeat DWI offender gets max sentence
Roswell man Joe Estrada was convicted of seventh DWI and sentenced to the maximum three years in prison plus an $85,000 fine. He also faces five years probation, ADAP participation, an open container fine, court costs, ignition interlock for life after release, and mandatory alcohol abuse program. Roswell man arrested on murder and battery warrants
Roswell police with a SWAT team arrested Fesral Martin Wheeler III, 90, around 2 a.m. Sunday on Bernalillo County warrants for murder and aggravated battery and a local Roswell warrant for unpaid fines. He was spotted driving, fled, and was found hiding in tall weeds near 1100 Kenlea Drive. a handgun was recovered nearby.
