Portales teen tops 17th regional science fair honors

Portales High School junior Mark Sublette won top honors in the 17th annual Southeastern New Mexico Regional Science and Engineering Fair senior division for the second year. Winners included Wayne Anderson of Lovington and Oriane Ford of Fort Sumner with Sublette and Anderson set to represent the region at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Denver May 9 15.
