Juan Acosta was shot by Holly Ray a former Carlsbad deputy sheriff early Tuesday and died at eleven o'clock the same day. Ray was arrested and the case is under grand jury investigation. The incident stemmed from an old grudge and a quarrel over fifteen cents.
