Beagles Sues Rosenthal and Brewton in Capital District Court

Virgil Beagles of Roswell files a 1.75 million lawsuit in District Court alleging violations of constitutional rights illegal grand jury communications and slander against former Roswell assistant district attorney Jay F Rosenthal and Sgt Dennis Brewton. Sanchez Named Associate Provost at UNM

Dr. Alex A. Sanchez, academic dean at New Mexico Military Institute, is appointed associate provost for community education at the University of New Mexico. The move, effective immediately, places him in charge of developing and coordinating UNM programs in community and continuing education. Sanchez, 44, is a native New Mexican who previously led Dona Ana Occupational Educational Branch at NMSU Las Cruces for five years and earned a doctorate from NMSU. He and his wife Amy have five children and reside at 3 Campus Circle.
