Turquoise and Tobacco Exhibit Opens at NM Military Institute
The Museum of New Mexico presents Turquoise and Tobacco in the J. Ross Thomas Reception Hall at New Mexico Military Institute. Weekday hours 2 to 5 p.m. during March with no admission charge. The display covers barter among native and Spanish traders and trade goods like arrows beadwork pottery foodstuffs oxcarts burros and travois.
