Roswell Police Foil Abduction At Convenience Store
A man attempted to abduct the assistant manager Betty McAlister at the Southland 7-11 in Roswell. He wrestled with Officer Ray Mounts, pistol to the head, and was later arrested for aggravated assault. Two men linked to a Burger Time robbery were also arrested. In Santa Fe bids opened for state projects on U S 285 and I 40. A car radio theft was reported at Sambo’s Restaurant.
