Animal rescue group withdraws special use permit request
The group From Forgotten to Forever led by Colorado volunteers pulled its application to run an animal rescue operation on West Gallina Road north of Roswell. Neighbors cited traffic and barking concerns after as many as 14 rescued dogs were housed on the property. The county had learned June 17 of the withdrawal and the group asked to void the permit.

Roswell UFO Festival draws 12 000 plus visitors
