Card from C H Hale of Roswell New Mexico dated June 28 1906 asserts rivals spread lies about his vote in the sheriff race between K S Woodruff and Tobe Odem. Hale claims D B Ashley knew Hale voted for Woodruff but Hale voted straight for Odem and offers to allow ballot and records scrutiny or to apologize if wrong.
O R Tanner of Hagerman filed plats with the county recorder for two new additions to Hagerman to be called the Chedester and Shadeland subdivisions.
