The Walker AFB Variety Show featured Roswell and Walker talent with eight numbers. Five were by Talent Associates members or guests, including a Beatnik Dance by Vicki Silcott and Gilda Romero, a Pantomime by Cynthia Sims, an Interpretive Dance by Polly Crook, a piano piece by Larry Treto, and a Spanish Dance by Minnie Romero. A western number was also performed.
Miss Barbara Marshall, bride elect of Joe White, was honored Friday night with a miscellaneous shower at the Nick son Hotel. Hostesses were Jeanie Gateley and Fay Rene Mitchell. Attendants included Mrs. Lester Marshall and other friends. A pink and white centerpiece, crystal candlesticks, fruit punch, cake squares, and wedding bells highlighted the event.
