The National People’s Party held a wire service conference in St Louis with delegates from nearly every state to discuss the political setup. They consider endorsing a presidential candidate and press for government ownership of public industries, naming Bryan, Roosevelt, Folk, Hearst and La Follette as influential figures. Milwaukee Democrats push Bryan supporters to lead the state convention.
