Section 7 Assignable certificates exchange with city bonds
The ordinance establishes that assignable certificates shall be delivered to New Mexco Construction Company or assigns for exchange for paying bonds in convenient denominations issued by the city. The City Treasurer will retain and disburse payments, endorse amounts, and release liens upon full payment. The ordinance repeals conflicting provisions and becomes irrevocable until certificates and interest are paid. It is declared an emergency measure and will take effect five days after publication in the Roswell Daily Record on June 18, 1923.
