Valdez Returns to United States in Roswell Invaders lineup
Dominican born Carlos Valdez 21, current Roswell Invaders left fielder, has joined U S baseball again after stints in the Dominican Republic. He notes visa terms allow longer stays, and he aims to keep playing in the United States while continuing to face scouts observing from the stands. In 28 Invaders games, he hits .295 with 16 RBIs and 24 strikeouts as manager Chris Treibht praises his effort.
