The piece argues for a full-time county health department to equalize health protection and support rural preservation on farms.
Mrs. C. M. Farnsworth plans a summer trip visiting relatives in Michigan and Ohio starting tomorrow night. She will spend a few days in Kansas City to be with her husband Mr. Farnsworth, who is hospitalized there for knee injury treatment.
Dr and Mrs Charles F Beeson departed yesterday for Denver Colorado where Mrs Beeson will enter a hospital for examination and likely undergo an operation.
A quiet wedding took place Saturday June 16 at four o'clock with Judge Emmett-Patton officiating. Miss Clive May Pugh wed Mr. Frank White Peters in Roswell in the presence of immediate family. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Pugh, works as stenographer and bookkeeper at Roswell Laundry. The groom, son of Dr. W. L. Peters of Arkansas, moved to the city six years ago and has worked at Ctoswell Auto Co after leaving the Used Car Market. The couple has many friends who wish them happiness.
Governor Hagerman of Roswell entertained several guests at the Bishop's lodge including Mr and Mrs Levi Hughes and others. The party later attended a Santa Fe club dance as reported in the Santa Fe New Mexican.
Miss Ruth Jefferies, a trained nurse at Riverside Hospital in California, is expected in Roswell this week to visit her parents. She will finish her course at Riverside in six months.
Southern M E Missionary Council to be reproduced by local auxiliary at a June 22 meeting 3 30 p m home of Mrs Cottingham. Officers present by proxy from Missouri Tennessee and Texas will report and foreign missionaries home on furlough will be introduced. Music and social hour planned.

Miss Charlotte Maurer travels to Pine Lodge to visit Miss Nell Williams at J Williams cabin for ten days. Minor fishing rules for 1923 shared with Fin & Feather Club members. Directors meet June 16 1923. Special communication of Roswell Lodge No 18 A F and A M calls members June 18 at 7 30 pm for Entered Apprentice work.
The time for payment of the second half of 1922 taxes has been extended from June 1 to August 1.
Jesse L. Finley of Roswell filed intent to make final three year proof on land in Township 7 South Range 25 West N M P Meridian.
