Former New Mexico man sentenced for false VAMC travel claims
William Alviso, 57, received two years probation and must repay $13,613.66 to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albuquerque for submitting false travel reimbursement claims between Sept 2011 and Jan 2012. He pled guilty to 10 counts of theft of government property on Nov 7, 2014. The case was investigated by VA OIG CID.
