16 Dogs From Kennel Rescue Heading to Colorado
The 16 dogs from Doggy Saviors rescue not involved in the attack on a 9 year old boy were slated to be shipped to Colorado on Thursday. Mayor Dennis Kintigh said the animals not involved would move out of state, while two other dogs held for rabies observation would not be released to Colorado. The boy, hospitalized, recovered at his great grandmother’s home after the incident in which a 9 year old was attacked by three pit bull mix dogs. one was killed by the father, another wounded and later euthanized, a Lab mix observed. Local officials noted concern but proceeded with the transfer process. some relatives argued for putting down all dogs involved.
