Man Hit by Empty Lime Barrel at New East Fourth Street Building

Ed Brooks, a workman for R. W. Smith on the east Fourth Street project, was struck on the head by an empty lime barrel dropped between joists from the second floor. He lost consciousness briefly, suffered a deep scalp cut, but no skull fracture. A physician attended and tied the artery.

Little Montgomery Peet Dies at Age Seven

Montgomery Peet, only son of Mr and Mrs George H Peet, died Sunday afternoon at 4 45 of bowel trouble and summer complaint. He was born November 21 1908. A short service was held at the parents home at 4 30 this afternoon conducted by Bilder Geo Fowler, with burial at South Side Cemetery.
