White Sands grazing district names advisory board

About 500 ranchers voted in the first White Sands grazing district election at Carrizozo New Mexico. The nine member advisory board will select licensees and draft a code of fair range practice to become law after Interior Department approval. David L. Geyer Pioneer Citizen Dies in Roswell

David L. Geyer 86 a Roswell resident for 38 years died at 9 a.m. today at 510 North Richardson Avenue He was born January 1 1849 near Chester Ohio and came to Roswell in 1897 to serve as Receiver of the United States Land Office He is survived by wife seven children six grandchildren and two great grandchildren Funeral services Friday at 10 a.m. at Talmage Memorial Chapel with Rev Benjamin Eitelgeorge officiating Burial at South Park Mortuary directed the ceremony.
