Montgomery is the daughter of Scott and Irene Montgomery and Yevette Parker, a 2000 Gateway Christian High School graduate, continuing at San Juan College. Smith is the son of Patricia and Larry Fitts and the late Patrick Smith, and Glenda Smith, a 2000 Goddard High School grad, who will join the Mesa Airlines Pilot Development Program at San Juan College in August 2002. After the ceremony the couple will travel to Disneyland in California.

Katherine is the daughter of Tito and Rhonda Garcia of Roswell and granddaughter of JoAnn Nunez. She works as a child care assistant and is a 2001 Goddard High School graduate planning to attend ENMU. Joshuwa is the son of Ralph and Emma Fairbanks of Henderson Nevada and works as a route supervisor for Ameripride.
Vanessa Gillaspy and Ty Martinez announce engagement set for 2 p m on August 10 in a double ring ceremony at the NMMI Chapel. Vanessa is the daughter of Gary and Elaine Gillaspy of Roswell and a South Plains College student training to become a preschool teacher. she works at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church Preschool and PDO. Ty is the son of Edward Martinez and Betty McDonald of Roswell. he attended NMSU for two years and TTU for one semester, and is employed at Freedom Wireless.
