Crisis Intervention Center discussed for Lincoln County
Lincoln County residents from Carrizozo, Hondo, Lincoln, Ruidoso, Capitan and Corona met with State Police Sgt. Jack Johnson to explore a crisis line and center. They cited spouse and child abuse and family problems, agreeing confidentiality is key to aiding victims and encouraging reporting. Committees were formed to study feasibility and plan a public meeting.
