Driver arrested after wrong-way drive on Main Street
Roswell police report Justin Tyler Mendenhall 27 of Roswell was arrested for aggravated driving under the influence after a 2:40 a.m. incident in which a black Dodge Ram traveled north in the southbound lane of North Main Street.

Amazon drone operator buzzes Space Needle in Seattle
An Amazon employee from out of town piloted a camera equipped drone around the Space Needle this week. Witnesses saw it return to a nearby hotel. He admitted piloting the craft and showed officers video of the flight. No damage to the landmark was found.

Eddy County officer honored in San Antonio
Eddy County Sheriff Scott London and Sgt. Jacob Jaquez traveled to San Antonio for an awards ceremony where LAPD officers were honored. Jaquez received a Meritorious Conduct Medal for aiding during a nine hour stand off after a shooting in September 2013.
