New Mexico Delegates Reconsider Clinton Support at Convention
New Mexico Democrats who backed Bernie Sanders at the primary now revisit Clinton amid testimony praising her public service. Sanders delegates cite lingering concerns over finances and foreign policy while some NM leaders urge unity and acknowledge Clinton’s broad appeal. Representative Sheryl Williams Stapleton notes potential shift among Sanders supporters if concerns are addressed. Ben Ray Luján uses convention platform to promote Democrats and criticize Trump allies, framing Clinton as unity candidate.
