Two Hobbs men L. George Schubert and J. D. Boren, both 39, were hurt when their 1952 Ford left U S Highway 285 four and a half miles north of town at 1 30 a m today. Schubert suffered a cut chin shock and bruises while Boren had a broken nose shock and cuts. A passing motorist rushed them to St Marys Hospital. Police investigator Bob Jurney, on temporary Roswell assignment, led the probe.
