Stallings Named Assistant County Manager in Roswell
Clayton Stallings of Roswell was named assistant county manager by County Manager Ned Tandy with a view to eventual succession. Stallings, former ENMU Roswell director of academics, was elected to the state House in 1974 and faces questions over serving in the legislature while working for the county. The appointment awaits Chaves County Commission approval at its July 15 meeting.
