Lee Richards Died After Illness In Roswell
Lee J. Richards died Saturday evening at St Mary's hospital after a six month illness. He was 60, born February 8 1864 in Sherman Texas. He moved to Roswell 26 years ago and served on the New Mexico Cattle Sanitary board and as an inspector in this state for 18 years. He belonged to First Presbyterian Church and is survived by his wife two brothers a half brother and a half sister. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 pm from Talmage chapel with Rev Rudolph Caughey and Rev C Hill officiating. Pallbearers named J B Savage Clark Baker J B Zumwalt Frank Strickland and Jim Creek. Burial in South Park.
