McGee Lambs Slated for Ethiopia Trade Horsemen
McGee and Flying H Ranch lambs worth 100 Rambouillet head were bought by the government of Ethiopia. The stock was shipped from the H H McGee farm near Roswell to Oklahoma A M do Fort Reno station for staging before air lift to Addis Ababa. Ethiopian officials and agents from Oklahoma prepared the deal. The government plans to cross Rambouillet with Merino to improve wool quality and quantity.
