Roswell man arraigned in conspiracy case over Tessier plot

The Roswell man Earl I Litherland 19 was arraigned in magistrate court before Judge Kent Shannon his bond reduced from 10000 to 2000 and he posted it. Gordon Gay appointed to defend Litherland. Also charged with conspiracy is Mrs Sandy Tessier wife of Rowland Tessier. Authorities say the plot aimed to shoot Rowland Tessier as he left his home Friday night. Police halted the plan after an anonymous call around 450 PM Friday Tessier was taken into protective custody and Litherland was arrested Friday evening. Mrs Tessier was arrested Saturday and released on 2000 bond.
