NextEra plans 70 and 30 MW solar farms near Roswell
NextEra Energy Resources proposes three solar projects northeast of Roswell totaling up to 290 million dollars. The plan includes 70 MW fields and a 30 MW facility across a 1,300 acre site, expected to power over 40 000 homes and reduce CO2 by about 370 000 tons. Public hearing set for February 19 at the Chaves County Administrative Center.
