Roswell Fire Chief Matt Miller to retire January 31

One dead in Friday night Roswell shooting
A Roswell man fatally wounded Friday night in a shooting is believed by police to be self defense. Alvin Sedillo, 27, was found with multiple gunshot wounds at a North Montana Avenue residence after 9 30 p.m. He died at the scene after medics treated him. The shooter, a 30-year-old man who also was wounded, was taken to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.
