Indictments Hit State Senate Leader in Contractor Bribery Case

Schools gain in LFC budget

Miss Artesia Universe 1974 Crowned At Local Pageant

Greta Anderson Miss Brown Pipe and Supply won the first annual Miss Artesia Universe title sponsored by the Artesia Junior Woman's Club. First runner up Donna Canada, second runner up Jeanette Johnson. Anderson will compete in the Miss New Mexico Universe pageant in Las Cruces in March. Ten contestants were judged on swimsuit evening gown poise and personality.
