Roswell Elks Lodge counts one thousand one hundred thirty six members, a large crowd that could rival a Baptist congregation. John Peed and wife from Kansas entertained Roswell Rotarians with song and guitar, with Mrs Peed as guest. The pair, Roswell High School Alumnus and University of Kansas graduates, performed an original piece with Roswellite entertainer Ronnie Lowell. Mrs E J Hanson 64 and sister Iva Espanoza 97 had a festive snowman at 502 North Atkinson during the recent storm named Mister 1973 Snow Man. Budweiser Clydesdales will visit February 12 under Herring Distributing Co auspices with a large feed order for their stay.
