Men Survive Drop From Disabled B 26 Near Carrizozo
Two Air Force crew members parachuted from a disabled B 26 ten miles northeast of Carrizozo after a Holloman based mission crash. S/Sergeant Willie Woods and Captain Frederick Worth were found early morning and in good condition despite freezing conditions. The men, from Holloman AFB, were located after an aerial search and ground rescue teams reached the site hours later.
