Roswell Sees Light Snowfall with Weekend Warmup Ahead
Roswell recorded 2 to 2 1/2 inches of snow Friday night, with higher totals in outlying counties including 9 to 12 inches in Portales and 7 inches east of Elkins. Forecaster Jason Frazier noted the snow was unusual for southern New Mexico as sun returns Saturday and temperatures rise into the 30s and 50s through Tuesday.

Seven trees with color themes were judged by customer votes raising 3000 for local nonprofits. Valley Christian Academy received 1500 with Lindsay Black of the dealership presenting the prize. Roswell High School Project Celebration earned 1000 for Floyd Bell and Aaron Dominguez. Goddard Project Graduation won 500 for Susan House.

IRS Announces 2015 Tax Season Kickoff Date
