Senator Kearns of Utah attacked President Smith and the Mormon church in Washington accusing polygamy, a social autocracy, and a Utah business monopoly. Work of vandals damages homestead door near Roswell

Frank Dunlap returned to his seven mile northeast Roswell home Monday to find thieves battered the door and torn boards for kindling. The items mention a hat case from Jaffa Prager store and W L Foster Louisiana railroad commissioner visiting Roswell for business connected with a purchase from Mr. Winston.

Indictments Against Mrs. Cassie Chadwick Overruled

Judge Tay lor of the U S District Court overruled the motion to quash two federal indictments filed against Mrs. Cassie Chadwick. Attorney J P Bawley argued the motion today in Cleveland Ohio. The indictments were returned by the Federal grand jury on February 21.

Reno Nevada February 28 a mob at Hazen lynched Red Wood for robbery after Wood and a companion robbed two men at the railroad station. A second robber escaped as the mob captured Wood and hanged him in the sage brush.

The wool market in Boston remains quiet and steady today. Offerlngs have been heavily affected by a recent fire at the Hoosac Tunnel docks in Charleston which destroyed between 6,000 and 10,000 bales of Australian wool.

New Hotel Planned by Dayton Townsite Company
