Denver Road announces a through round trip fare to Roswell for the Panhandle Stockmen’s Association meeting, April 16 to 18, 1907. From Fort Worth to Roswell the total is 17.05 dollars, with tickets sold April 13 and 14 and return by April 24, via Amarillo to Roswell using a 1.5 fare to Amarillo plus a 5.00 segment to Roswell.
Miss Lillian Williams ends a six month visit and returns home to Enid Oklahoma. W T Costen leaves for Portales after several days observing the area. He is from Paragould Arkansas.
Mrs M E Adamson arrived by auto from Corona for a month long visit with her father J H Adamson in Clements. Tickets for the orchestra recital tomorrow night are selling fast with best seats going quickly. Admission 15 cents and reserved seats 25 cents at Daniels Drug Store.
Missing telegraph wires delay Santa Fe specials. Ads seek a sales lady for Carlsbad and for allering at Morrison Bros Store in Roswell NM. Dr C E Lukens departed for Las Vegas to secure a home for an orphan boy.

Theodore Sutherland a cadet at the Military Institute is kept at home after injuring an ankle mounting a charge. Misses Myrtle and Ella Fort return home from Corona where they had stayed six months with their sister, but their mother Mrs C E Fort of this city is ill.
J J Boyd from Lake Arthur gathered signatures yesterday to support a petition for help on a bridge over the Pecos River at Lake Arthur. He says residents will soon be in a position to start work on the structure.
