Pair bound over to district court after hearing
Glenn Jimmy Hopper, 23, of Dexter, faces aggravated assault kidnapping and rape charges while Alvaro Luis Soto, 22, a Mexican national near Roswell, is charged with aggravated battery aggravated assault kidnapping and rape after a magistrate court hearing before Judge Kent Shannon. A 17 year old Dexter woman her husband and Sheriff’s Deputy Tillman Walters testified. The couple reported two men came to their farm southeast of Roswell between 4 and 4:30 a.m. on February 3 asking for papers. The husband said Hopper identified himself and went to the house.
