Town hall in Ruidoso on NIETC regional corridor plan
A 6 pm town hall at Eastern New Mexico University Ruidoso Branch Community College addresses the proposed National Interest Electric Transmission Corridor linking eastern New Mexico with southeast Colorado and parts of the Oklahoma panhandle. Chaves County officials invited residents from Chaves, Otero and Lincoln counties to attend, detailing corridor segments through Chaves, Otero and Lea counties and noting the Southwestern Grid Connector Corridor as the planned route.
