Joe K Harrison Jr Shot To Death At Lincoln County Ranch
Joe K Harrison Jr 25 son of Roswell residents was found shot to death yesterday afternoon at Roy Treat ranch 18 miles south of Picacho Lincoln County. He had been visiting the ranch and was alone when found with a chest wound near a shotgun found nearby. Lincoln County sheriff’s department investigates. Born Austin Texas October 17 1914 he lived in Roswell most of life and worked for the highway department. Survived by parents a brother Thom and three sisters Mrs Margaret McDaniel Mrs Frank Gilvin and Vera Harrison. Funeral Saturday at Talmage Memorial Chapel with Methodist and First Christian Church ministers in charge. Interment at South Park.

They were taken to Memorial hospital by a passerby and expected to be released later that day. Mrs Roosevelt sustained a forehead and right ear laceration.
