The Roswell Chaves County Veterans Cemetery will be dedicated Monday December 30 at 10 30 a m during a ground breaking at South Park Cemetery. Mayor Del Jurney Rep Steve Pearce and Ret Col Ron McKay will present proclamations as the board ponders naming it the Roswell McBride Veterans Cemetery to honor the McBride family. The city has approved 75000 for improvements including water system sprinklers electrical work and a drive up area. Development will start on at least a 1 acre parcel to begin burials.
