Greenville S Howell aged 77 of Roswell died Christmas morning at his son David Howell’s home 204 North Lea avenue after a long illness. He was born June 6 1830 in Georgia and served four years in the Confederate Army under General Stonewall Jackson. Funeral held at his son’s home with burial at South Side Cemetery. He leaves two daughters in New Orleans and Georgia. He was a Baptist for sixteen years and respected in life.
