Washington December 26 Postmaster General Payne says a long inquiry into a Cheyenne Wyoming post office lease found it was made with the senator's agent for the building now in use. The government would save about 7000 dollars if the ten year contract runs. A new Cheyenne government building will be complete by July and the post office will move there.
M. B. Pitts died on Christmas Eve at age 20 on Kentucky Avenue. The remains were accompanied this morning by his wife and brother-in-law John S. Major to Hot Springs Arkansas for burial.
