Washington December 24 The return of the nations railroads to their owners is postponed to April first at the earliest with no law ready to govern when government relinquishes control. Government fuel supply also hinges on railroads and the Presidents plan to return the roads is held due to the unsettled situation.

Two American Sailors Released From Mazatlan Jail

Two American sailors jailed at Mazatlan for assaulting a Mexican have been released. Authorities said the investigation continues and one report claims the sailors were armed when landed while others say they were intoxicated.
