Laycock stays at William and Mary after BC offer
William and Mary coach Jimmye Laycock reversed his plan to accept Boston College’s job. After a sleepless night he announced at a Thursday news conference that he will remain in Williamsburg for personal reasons. He is a 42-year-old alumnus and his wife Deidre Connelly works as a sports psychologist at the school. The couple has a 3-month-old son and a 9-year-old daughter from his previous marriage also lives in Williamsburg.
