A Christ based ministry runs a 12 step program at Grace Community Church since 2004, adds jail outreach at Chaves County Detention Center, and opened a transitional living home for women inmates in 2012. Executive director Lornal Peschka oversees housing next to the former Central Christian Church at 3103 W Alameda St. Residents stay six to twelve months with on site mentorship and where one resident, Sandy Munoz, has begun work at The Salvation Army Thrift Store after joining in June.
