Insurance election a warm contest in New York

Balloting for new officers of the New York Life Insurance Co and the Mutual Life Insurance Co began with heavy proxy voting. At New York Life proxies surged with about 200000 ballots cast in the first hour. administration ticket received 115000 proxies at once and anti administration sent ten boxes of 3500 proxies each. Marriage of Waldo Snyder and Mrs. Lorence Bonner Bridges Paths

The wedding took place at 8:45 this morning with Rev. C. E. Lukens officiating at North Sea avenue. Waldo Snyder of the P. W. & N. E. railroad and Mrs. Lorence Bonner will reside in Roswell after a month in California and western states. Snyder, a five-year Roswell resident, is praised as a railroad man from a strong Texas family. Bonner, daughter of Captain Shoemaker of Decatur, Texas, is a noted literary leader and former president of women’s clubs.
